Savings potential

ACs left running after close and setpoints pushed too low are the two most common losses. Calculate the annual potential with your own operating pattern.

Nominal outdoor unit capacity. 1 HP ≈ 2.8 kW. Unsure? Use the capacity estimate.

Operating hours

d
Daily hours come from opening–closing; closing past midnight (e.g. a café at 07:00–01:00) is supported. This pattern is the biggest savings lever: each hour units stay on after close is priced separately in the result.

From potential to result

From an estimate to a measured outcome

This calculator is the counterpart of FiotX's "potential opportunity": an estimate with open assumptions and an uncertainty margin. The real impact can only be shown by measuring on site.

1. Measure first

We record the current state from compatible units' operating status and, where possible, meter data. How many units really stay on after hours shows up here.

2. Act

Operating schedules, setpoint limits and after-hours shutdown rules are defined. Every action is logged with who did it and when.

3. Compare

The impact is compared against periods with similar weather and usage. A single bill difference is not evidence of savings.

Let's measure the potential on site.

A pilot with a written scope and criteria, starting with one floor or 5–10 compatible units.
