Split & cassette air conditioning

Split, cassette and floor-standing ACs for homes, stores, offices and schools. Klimanist selects and installs; your existing ACs can gain remote control with PN Climate IR.

Store interior

What size AC do you need?

A quick estimate for a single room. For multiple rooms or VRF, use the capacity estimate.

m²

Consider one size up if the ceiling is above 3 m, the room is on the top floor, glazing is extensive, or the room holds many people or heat-emitting equipment. Finalised at the survey.

Which AC?

Four things to check after capacity

We're not tied to any brand; the quotation shows suitable models side by side against these four criteria.

Efficiency class

Seasonal efficiency in cooling and heating. For an AC that runs long hours, it defines the running cost.

Heating performance

If the AC will also heat, check heating capacity at low outdoor temperatures.

Sound level

For bedrooms and meeting rooms, the indoor unit's sound at its lowest fan stage matters.

Service & installation

Outdoor unit position, pipe route, drainage and service access; correct installation is also a warranty condition.

PN Climate IR

Manage your existing ACs without replacing them

The infrared controller speaks the AC's remote protocol; it receives on/off, mode and setpoint commands through FiotX. No hardware change to the AC.

  • Infrared protocols of 25+ AC manufacturers; compatibility assessed per brand and model.
  • Learning and configuration with compatible remotes.
  • End-of-day shutdown in stores and branches; schedules in classrooms.
  • Signed over-the-air firmware updates.

An AC doesn't acknowledge infrared commands; the screen shows "command sent". The outcome is tracked via room temperature.

Stores & branches

ACs left on at close, on one screen.

Offices

Schedules for meeting rooms and department ACs.

Schools

Classroom ACs follow the timetable; off at weekends.

Hotel rooms

Room AC status visible to the technical team.

Maintenance

When was your AC last serviced?

A dirty filter delivers the same cooling by running longer; a blocked drain drips, an unnoticed refrigerant leak quietly eats capacity. Planned maintenance protects comfort and the bill together.

  • Pre-season filter, coil and drain cleaning
  • Refrigerant pressure, temperature and electrical checks
  • A written record: work done and values measured
FAQ

About split ACs

Doesn't a bigger AC cool better?

An oversized AC cools fast and stops often; humidity isn't removed properly, comfort drops and efficiency suffers. The right capacity is the one that keeps the room steady.

After how many rooms should I consider VRF?

Beyond four or five rooms, façades fill with outdoor units. That's where mini VRF or multi-split comes in. The Which VRF? wizard gives a first idea.

How often should a split AC be serviced?

Filters are cleaned every few weeks depending on use. General maintenance is typically once or twice a year, before the cooling and heating seasons. See the maintenance page.

Let's talk about your project.

Building type, approximate area and existing system details are enough for a first conversation. Quotations are finalised after a site survey.
